How do you develop the ‘intangibles’ of leadership i.e. dealing with uncertainty, risk-taking, building trust, trusting your intuition, developing your self-awareness? We do this, not through management theory, but through art. (Please note no artistic talent is necessary)

‘Learn the rules like a pro so you can break them like an artist’

Artists don’t just create art they: problem solve, are curious, see things differently, go into the unknown, break rules, take risks, develop new perspectives/ create new genres, fail and learn constantly, are vulnerable and courageous, are creators and their own critics, think big picture and fine detail simultaneously- can you see the similarities with leadership?

This programme is for people tired of traditional leadership courses. Here we take the learning experience into an artist studio setting. We will use art, individually and in a group, as a way of mastering the softer skills of being an effective leader and working more effectively as a team.

The programme includes: Developing a visual language- a way of communicating without words; Experimenting with colour; Free drawing; Collaborative painting; Creating abstract works of art

No previous art experience is necessary as you will guided through the process by Art Freedom Coach, Prith Biant. This creative space is a laboratory to experiment, explore and discover.

‘There might be a science to becoming a great leader but there is also an art.’

This programme will help you:

  • get to know yourself better
  • reflect on your role as a leader
  • build a greater sense of trust and collaboration within your leadership team
  • help you see things differently
  • develop leadership skills in a way like no other course will

Art has been used for visioning, communication, customer service and team development by organisations such as American Express, BBC, Kodak, British Airways, Coca-Cola, Hewlett Packard, Marks and Spencer- to name but a few.

If you’re ready for a completely new type of leadership development experience – this is for you.
