Over the past few weeks I’
ve been working on an exciting project: creating enterprise-based online learning resources in the form of videos.
The content of the videos are based on a resource I co-created with the super talented Enterprise & Skills Manager at Gwalia Housing: Lisa Williams.
They are designed to give housing association tenants the tools to create their own businesses including social enterprises.
Funded by the ERDF Building Enterprise programme (at Community Housing Cymru) these resources will empower people and provide the opportunity for them to create their own enterprise which in turn could lead to financial independence.
Providing these resources through an accessible series of 2 minute videos we hope will make a huge difference. We’ve also created some great characters: Sian and Dylan who have ambitions to become a mobile hairdresser and develop a community gardening project.
The project will be featured at the upcoming Festyval in June 2015
And as luck would have it- I’m doing more filming tomorrow- but this time I’ll be behind the scenes as my clients create their own training videos for my next project. Next blog!
